Cruising & Dining
on Greenwood Lake
Saturday, August 5th

The
extremely popular Greenwood Lake Chamber of Commerce sponsored Cruising
on the Lake event will be held again on Saturday, Aug. 5. Due to the
popularity of the event, early reservations are recommended. Tickets
must be purchased in advance.
Cruising on the Lake combines an early
afternoon or evening cruise on beautiful Greenwood Lake with a dinner at
one of the lake’s wonderful participating restaurants.
Cruise boats will leave at 2:00, 3:15, 4:30, 5:45 and 7:00 p.m. from the
Castle Tavern & Marina, 13 Castle Court (East Shore), Greenwood Lake.
Parking is free. Cruising on the Lake participants can choose to have
dinner at one of five local restaurants: Breezy Point Inn, 620 Jersey
Ave.; Castle Tavern & Marina, 13 Castle Court; Emerald Point Restaurant
& Marina, 40 Sterling Rd.; Graziella’s Italian Cafe, 40 Jersey Ave., and
Rainbow Inn, 4 Court Ave., all located in Greenwood Lake, NY.
Cruise participants will be taken by boat to the restaurant of their
choice (those dining at Graziella’s Italian Cafe must drive to the
restaurant after their cruise). Those dining at The Castle Tavern will
cruise on the lake and be dropped off back at the restaurant. Diners
(except those dining at the Castle) will be returned by boat to The
Castle Tavern & Marina after their meal. Dress is casual neat.
Ticket holders should be ready to board their boats 15 minutes before
departure time.
What could be more enticing than a relaxing cruise along the shores of
Greenwood Lake, followed by an outstanding dining experience? Reserve
early and don’t miss the boat.
Tickets, at $60 a person, are available at Greenwood Lake and West
Milford News, 61 Windermere Ave., or call (845) 477-2575. Tax and
gratuities are included in the ticket price. All five
participating restaurants are planning special Cruising on the Lake
